• Description

  Wylie is small for a boy his age, and thin due to his family's relative poverty. His fair hair is about chin length, and messy, often hanging in his face. He has sharp grey eyes, and his face is dotted with spots and pimples.
  His clothes are full of holes and rips from his escapades, and covered in carefully sewn patches and darns (not by his hand). He has scuffed yet sturdy boots.
  All over his body are bruises, scratches and grazes, as he often climbs and falls out of trees, runs through brambles, whittles carelessly and things of the like.

• Background

  He comes from a large farming family on the outskirts of a town, and has lived in their house all his life. The house is two storeys tall, and rather big, though it doesn't seem so on the inside. Wylie, his two parents, three siblings, two siblings-in-law, one nephew, and four sheepdogs all live there together.
  His role, most often, is to watch the flock during the day, and herd them in at night. He finds this excruciatingly dull, and is always abandoning his post. His sensible older brother picks up the slack.
  Wylie gets in trouble a lot. Often, people find his enthusiastic, inquisitive- and sometimes naive- manner irritating, especially when he won't shut up, and he's not good at working out who might be dangerous to piss off. His parents punish him for being irresponsible, he gets into dangerous situations, and he's occasionally caught trespassing on nobles' land. He always manages to land on his feet, though, often with the help of a rescuer.
